Hey, are you ready yet for a cozy Thanksgiving? If not, here are two Thanksgiving design tips that may help...
(1) If you're going to have people over, or you are planning a day of family time in the living room or family room, take a look at the current furniture configuration and see if needs to be tweaked so that you can create good conversation spaces. You want people to be able to see and talk to each other easily, without strain.
(2) And if you will be serving food or drinks that will end up in those rooms, make sure there are plenty of tables nearby, with lots of space for setting down whatever they are carrying.
(3) But once the party's over, or everyone is gathering in the room to watch Hallmark Christmas movies, shift the furniture so that everyone can easily see the TV, make several bowls of popcorn and place them within easy reach, and have some blankets or throws available, in case anyone gets cold.
Hope your day is wonderful!
Today is DAY THREE of a #selfloveuprising
in my cozy self-care Facebook group. It's a
3-day self-care challenge, and I'd love it if
you joined us. As women, we get bombarded
with negative messages that can undermine
our self-love. Let's make a pact to love
ourselves more. Join us here. Or, get more
info about it from Sunday's post here.
